Double Dresser:    $30,000.00
AUCTION HOUSE: SOTHEBY'S
MAKER: GUSTAV

Early Stickley bedroom furniture is not nearly as prominent as furniture for other rooms. Was it less popular to furnish the bedroom with Mission furniture? Perhaps. But both L. & J.G. Stickley and Gustav Stickley’s companies built and sold bedroom furniture throughout the early 20th century’s Arts and Crafts era. This chest of drawers, the model #616, is among the earliest examples of Stickley’s Mission bedroom furniture. Today, Stickley provides various options to bring the distinctive look and more importantly the distinguishable comfort of well crafted furniture into bedrooms.
