Albert Stickley (1862-1928)

Originally started Stickley Brothers Chair Co. with Gustav and Charles.  In 1891, he and John George moved the company to Grand Rapids, Michigan, which was at the time the furniture making capital of the United States.  He was greatly influenced by British design, and continued to make furniture, often labeled "Quaint," into the late 1920s.
