Stickley Associated Cabinetmakers - New York, New York  (1916-1918)

In 1916, Leopold and John George invited Gustav to form Stickley Associated Cabinetmakers in an attempt to salvage the Craftsman Workshops company.  Leopold assumed the Presidency, Gustav was elected Vice-President, and John George became Treasurer.  Albert Stickley joined the association in 1917.  This three-year fraternal merger resulted in L. & J.G. Stickley buying Gustav's Eastwood factory and incorporating Gustav's designs.  The factory, renamed The Stickley Manufacturing Company, increased L. & J.G. Stickley's production considerably.
